Dead Maggot's mainly known as dead reds. Something of a match anglers secret weapon. Dead maggots still look the same to hungry fish but they don't burrow in to the silt when fish can't find them. They don't break up ground bait, side hooking to create a slower more natural fall is easy with a dead maggot.
We all so keep dead pinkies a number one bait for skimmers
Top tip:
once on the bank tip your deads in a large bait tub fill with water to rinse any old maize etc off.Keep your deads in a little water. Try adding a little flavouring to the water,
