A some what forgotten bait mainly associated with canal fishing the humble Squat can be a deadly lose feed in ground baits or rivers and still waters, or even as a hook bait when the going gets really tough. 

Squats for home delivery are placed peat, chilled and packed in strong polythene bags, this helps keep them dry and fresh on their road trip to you.

Once they arrive with you we recommend you open the bag straight away and tip them in to a large bait tray or ground bait bucket, after around 4 hrs they will start to revive. 

Top Tips: Cat litter trays make ideal squat trays. To keep your squats in top condition keep them chilled at around 1 or 2 degrees. A damp slice of white bread can be added to them to keep them in top condition as they will feed on this.
