Super cup ground bait is, particularly favoured for its effectiveness in attracting silverfish like roach and skimmers. Known for its light texture and it's ability at, creating a desirable cloud effect in the water, especially when mixed with a bit more water to achieve a sloppy consistency – a technique often used when fishing 'on the drop'.
Its strong, sweet aroma is appealing to a variety of species, including bream and even carp, making it a versatile option for different fishing scenarios, from canals and small lakes to slow-moving rivers.
Anglers often appreciate that Super Cup can be used on its own or as an additive to heavier groundbaits to give the mix a bit of extra attraction scent with out adding feed content.
How I like to use Super Cup.
As well as using it on slower waters like many canals and lakes I find you can also get Super Cup to work in quite deep water by adding leam then squeezing hard into balls, These will sink quickly and then break down rapidly on the bottom creating a nice carpet of attraction with little feed value. You can add a small amount of loose feed if you wish but be mindful this could break the balls up on the way down. I'll often use a bait dropper over the top to add any loose feed.
For a longer-lasting cloud say on a canal or if your after fishing up in the water, I'd recommend a 50/50 mix of Super Cup with Van Den Eynde Special. the blend is designed to have low feed content, relying more on its attractive properties and the cloud it creates to draw fish into my swim without overfeeding.
Supercup has stood the test of time, remaining a popular choice for many anglers due to its consistent results.
Super cup is quite a light ground bait mix that was designed to attract roach and bream when fishing in still or slow moving waters. A favorite canal ground bait for many anglers.
A perfect mix to use when fishing for small fish, especially Roach and Skimmers, feeding little and often. A good squeeze will get a ball down through water to about 10 feet before quickly breaking down. A lighter squeeze gives off a slow sinking cloud.
Supercup is excellent for adding to heavier ground baits when you need to give your swim that little kick-start.
Supercup and Turbo can work well on canals that tow.
