ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS By accessing the content of www.soartackle.co.uk ("the Website") you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and our Privacy & Cookie Policy. If you object to any part of these terms, you must not use the Website and should leave immediately. You agree not to use the Website for illegal purposes and to respect all applicable laws.

1 MODIFICATION Soar Tackle reserves the right to change any part of this agreement without notice. Continued use of the Website is deemed acceptance of the updated terms.

2 LIMITATION OF LIABILITY Soar Tackle will under no circumstances be liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages, including loss of business or profits, in relation to your use of the Website. Soar Tackle is fully insured, including product and public liability.

3 COPYRIGHT All intellectual property rights on this Website remain the property of their respective owners. Users agree not to copy, reproduce, or exploit any material for commercial purposes.

4 DISCLAIMERS Information is provided on an "as is" basis. All images and wording are for illustration purposes; items may be updated or superseded by the manufacturer. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Website.

5 OUT OF STOCK ITEMS If an item is out of stock, we may offer a substitute of similar or better specification. If you prefer the original item, we will back-order it and notify you upon arrival. All products are subject to availability and may be withdrawn without notice. Your statutory rights are not affected.

6 FAULTY GOODS In accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, all products are required to be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described.

  • Short-term Right to Reject: If an item is faulty, you have a legal right to a full refund within 30 days of delivery.

  • Repair or Replacement: Outside of the 30-day window, but within 6 months of purchase, you are entitled to a repair or replacement. If the fault cannot be fixed, you may be entitled to a refund.

  • Exclusions: These rights do not apply to faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse (including improper modification such as drilling pole sections), or fair wear and tear.

  • Faulty goods must be returned with proof of purchase. We reserve the right to have goods inspected by the manufacturer or a technician before issuing a remedy.

7 UNSUITABLE GOODS (Right to Cancel) In accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 calendar days of receiving your goods.

  • Goods must be returned in "as sold" condition, unused, and in original packaging at the customer’s expense.

  • We will refund the price of the goods within 14 days of receipt.

  • Deductions: We reserve the right to reduce the refund amount if the value of the goods has been diminished by unnecessary handling (e.g., using the item beyond what is necessary to inspect it).

  • Exemptions: Perishable goods (baits) and custom-modified items are exempt from the 14-day right to cancel.

7a SPECIAL ORDER AND MODIFIED GOODS Items ordered specifically for a customer or modified at the customer's request (e.g., elastics or side pullers fitted) are non-returnable and non-refundable unless faulty (see Clause 6).

8 DELIVERY

Delivery usually takes 2–7 working days within the UK.

  • Highlands Exception: Please note that "Next Day" or "24-hour" services are typically a 48-hour service for these regions due to courier logistics. This includes, but is not limited to, postcodes starting with: AB31-38, AB41-56, FK17-21, IV, KW, PA21-40, and PH19-41. If you are ordering from these areas, please account for this extra transit time.

  • Service Note: Our 24-hour service is not a guaranteed next-day service and is subject to courier transit times and external factors beyond our control.

  • Accuracy: It is your responsibility to provide correct contact and delivery details. We are not responsible for losses resulting from incorrect addresses provided at checkout.

  • Failed Delivery: If a parcel is returned to us after two failed delivery attempts, we reserve the right to charge for re-delivery or deduct the cost of the return transit from any refund.

  • Damage: Please inspect your parcel on arrival. If it is visibly damaged, please sign for it as "Damaged" and notify us within 48 hours to assist with our courier claim.

8a SAFE PLACE & RISK

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the risk of loss or damage remains with Soar Tackle until the goods are delivered into your physical possession.

  • Customer Instructions: If you use a courier’s app or website to request that a parcel be left in a "Safe Place" (e.g., a porch, shed, or with a neighbour), you accept that delivery is deemed complete the moment the courier leaves the parcel in that location.

  • Theft: Soar Tackle is not responsible for the theft or loss of items once they have been delivered to a "Safe Place" requested by you. We strongly recommend using official collection points if you will not be home.

8b FREE CARRIAGE

Free carriage offers apply to UK Mainland only (excluding Highlands, Islands, and NI) and are non-transferable. Items will be shipped by our choice of service to suit items.

9 PERISHABLE GOODS (BAIT)

Under Regulation 28 of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, perishable items that are "liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly" are exempt from the right to cancel. This includes all fresh, live, and frozen baits.

9a FRESH / LIVE BAITS

None of our fresh baits contain preservatives. If you choose to order live bait, you accept responsibility for the condition of the bait upon delivery.

  • Transit Conditions: We recommend a 24-hour service for these items; however, this is not a guaranteed next-day service. We cannot guarantee transit conditions and will only issue refunds if the items were sent in error.

  • Regional Restrictions: We strongly advise against ordering live or fresh bait for delivery to the Scottish Highlands. We do not ship live baits to Northern Ireland or Offshore Islands.

  • Extended Transit: Because the Highlands are subject to a minimum 48-hour transit time (even on "express" services), we cannot guarantee the condition or survival of live bait upon arrival.

  • Customer Risk: If you choose to proceed with a live bait order to these postcodes, you do so entirely at your own risk. Soar Tackle will not provide refunds, replacements, or credit for bait that arrives in poor condition due to the extended transit times required to reach these locations.

10 RETURNS PROCEDURE To return an item, contact us at 01509 670436 or returns@soartackle.co.uk. Please enclose proof of purchase and a brief note regarding the reason for return. We recommend obtaining a certificate of posting; we cannot be held responsible for goods lost in transit back to us.

11 VOUCHERS Vouchers have a minimum spend of £10 (plus P&P) and cannot be used with other offers unless stated.

12 CLUB TICKETS Club and E-Day tickets are for a specific date or period of performance and are exempt from the right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. They are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.

13 THIRD PARTIES We are not responsible for the content or views of any third-party websites linked from our site.

14 SEVERANCE If any part of this agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force.

15 GOVERNING LAW This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Both parties agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
