• Trip Wire Hook Section: Constructed using Gardner’s proven 15lb Trip Wire. This super-stiff filament is pre-curved for optimum "hook-turning" efficiency, ensuring the hook point is always ready to take hold the moment a fish moves the bait.

• Skinned Boom Section: The 25lb "skinned" boom provides the perfect balance—stiff enough to kick the bait away from the lead during the cast, yet supple enough to lay flat over small obstructions like stones or twigs on the lakebed.

Pro Tips for the Best Presentation:

• Buoyancy is Key: For this rig to work correctly, you must use a buoyant pop-up.

• Balance: We recommend adding a small amount of Critical Mass Tungsten Putty around the top eye of the swivel. Mold just enough so the hookbait sinks slowly to the lakebed.

• Maintenance: If the boom becomes kinked after a fish, simply hold it over a steaming kettle to restore it to a perfectly straight finish.
