The EB128 pattern hook is possibly the most popular hook in our Hayabusa range.

I like to think of it as a bit of an all round hook. The 128 hook in Nickel finish is a medium wire spade end hook with a medium - long shank with a whisker barb.

Ridiculously sharp you can get a way with putting just about any bait on it and the presentation is good. However it is hugely popular for fishing hemp and tare plus casters due to its round bend. 

Why I Choose the Hayabusa HCHK-128 Hooks

As mentioned above I find this pattern perfect for many types of bait, But I mainly use it for fishing casters and hemp due to it's round bend as this helps with how the bait sits on the hook, both for presentation and for making sure the hook point is showing.

The wire gauge again is good for most things, strong enough to handle that OMG! fish but not so thick as to hinder presentation. And with all Hayabusa hooks they are incredibly sharp, giving confidence when used.
