The humble pinkie is a fantastic hook bait. It's always amazing how this little bait can catch fish even when they turn their noses up at maggots. Skimmers simply love pinkies over maggots. Pinkies are often favoured by many match anglers, especially in the winter months when fishing smaller fine hooks, all important tactics in tough, Winter Silvers Leagues. Top tip: fish Pinkie over loose fed Squats.

Care Instructions (How to revive your Pinkies)

1. Open immediately upon arrival to let them breathe.

2. Transfer to a large bait tray or bucket.

3. Revive: Allow at least 4 hours at room temperature to wake them up.

4. Store: Keep chilled at 1-2°C.

5. Clean: Run them through a riddle into fresh maize to remove any skins/deads.
